Sylfirm X

RF microneedling, dual-mode

Combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy, with depth and mode chosen for the tissue target — not applied uniformly to every texture or scarring concern.

What it is

Sylfirm X delivers radiofrequency energy through microneedles, with pulsed-wave and continuous-wave modes and manufacturer-documented microneedle depths from approximately 0.3 to 4.0 mm. Depth and mode are technical capabilities of the platform, not a claim that one setting suits every finding.

How it works

Texture, pores, scars, pigmentary change and vascular or inflammatory features can overlap in the same patient. RF microneedling delivers controlled radiofrequency energy through microneedles at selected depths — the device does not replace diagnosis of which layer is actually driving the concern.

Why depth and mode matter

Depth is chosen. It isn't assumed.

Needle depth, RF mode, treatment target and sequencing are chosen according to what tissue layer assessment identifies as the problem. A patient whose dominant concern is primarily pigmentary or vascular may need a different technology entirely, even though this platform is capable of reaching a range of depths.

Where it may fit

Sylfirm X is one option within the Skin Remodeling treatment family, considered where assessment finds a tissue-depth target this platform is suited to reach.

How Dr. Lancho thinks about it

Sylfirm X fits within a multimodality approach when a patient's concern involves a tissue component RF microneedling is suited to address. The device does not replace diagnosis — needle depth, mode, treatment target and sequencing matter, and a patient with primarily pigmentary or vascular concerns may need a different strategy.

When another approach may make more sense

Active infection, certain inflammatory skin conditions and pigment-risk considerations can change candidacy. Laser, traditional microneedling, chemical peels or another treatment may address a given concern differently, depending on what's actually causing it.

Before your consultation

Bring the concern, not the settings.

Assessment determines whether this platform — and which depth and mode — is the appropriate match for what's actually there.
