Treatment · Skin remodeling

Improve the tissue that creates the surface.

Texture, pores, scarring, pigmentary change and vascular or inflammatory features can overlap in the same patient. Skin remodeling treats the tissue itself — through controlled, depth-specific micro-injury and energy delivery — rather than treating the surface appearance alone.

What this treats

This treatment family is considered for concerns where the tissue itself, not just its surface appearance, is the primary finding.

How the technology is chosen

The tissue target decides the tool — not the other way around.

RF microneedling and traditional microneedling reach different depths and behave differently once assessment identifies what's actually driving the concern. A device does not replace diagnosis — needle depth, mode, treatment target and sequencing matter, and a patient whose dominant problem is primarily pigmentary or vascular may need a different treatment family entirely.

Technology options

Two options exist within this family. Which, if either, applies follows from assessment — not from this list.

  • 01

    Sylfirm X

Treat the layer that is contributing to the problem.

Combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy, offering pulsed-wave and continuous-wave modes for selected skin concerns. Manufacturer information describes adjustable microneedle depths from approximately 0.3 to 4.0 mm — a technical capability, not a claim that one depth or mode suits every finding.

  • 02

    Microneedling

    Controlled injury requires controlled judgment.

Creates controlled microchannels in the skin and may be used for selected scar, wrinkle and texture concerns depending on the device and indication. Treatment depth, device, indication and skin condition all factor into whether it's appropriate — not simply a way to help products penetrate deeper.

When another approach may make more sense

Active infection, certain inflammatory skin conditions and pigment-risk considerations can change candidacy for either option. Laser, chemical peels or another treatment in this system may address a given concern differently, depending on what's actually causing it.

Before your consultation

Bring the texture, not the technology.

You don't need to know how deep the problem sits. That's what assessment is for.
